Payment must be made in $US (or €Euros for Europeans) as required by the Israeli government.

Payment Terms

20% non-refundable deposit at the time of confirmation is required in order to book services. Services (including, but not limited to: guiding, attractions, and accommodation). Payment is due within 7 days of acceptance of the tour as offered.
Final balance is due 90 days prior to arrival.

If a trip is confirmed within the 90 days period, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.

Payment Options: can be done by direct wire to bank account (preferred) or by credit cards (all except American Express).
2% Discount apply when paying via wire transfer.

Shatour reserves the right to charge a planning fee of $250 before sending out a full offer. This fee is not refundable under any circumstances; however, it will be deducted from the total tour cost should the client choose to book with Shatour.
Cancellations effective upon receipt of written notification, are subject to the following penalties of the full trip price:

• 20% non-refundable deposit due at the time of confirmation
• 59-31 days prior to arrival: 50% penalty
• 30-15 days prior to arrival: 75% penalty
• 14 days prior to arrival: 100% penalty

Responsibility: Shatour acts only as agents for the various companies supplying the services of the tour and shall not be held liable in any way for injury, damage, loss, death, accident, delay or irregularity to any person or property, including air transportation or changes in itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control.

In case of force majeure (either in Israel or in the traveller’s country of origin) such as government actions, natural disaster, security situation, pandemic, the traveller may postpone their trip to any given time within 18 months and have the amount paid until that point saved in full as credit for the future trip. In case the traveller does not wish to postpone for a later date, they may cancel the trip at a fee of $500 per person or 5% of the tour’s total cost – the higher of the two.

As a travel agency, Shatour does not provide insurance of any kind. We strongly recommend to purchase an insurance that covers cancellation under any circumstances.
