What can you see in Israel on a one-day offshore excursion? If you are arriving in Haifa or Ashdod on a Mediterranean cruise, or coming in for a flying business visit, what can we show you?

Shatour Israel Experience specializes in organizing customized tours of the main historic and holy locations around Israel according to what you want to see. We create personalized itineraries for couples and small groups (up to 7 people) to match their interests. We meet each group on shore and bring them back to port on time, providing comfortable transportation in our air-conditioned van, reliable drivers, and knowledgeable multi-lingual guides.

It is difficult to do justice to any country in a visit of just a few hours, so how can you experience Israel when you have limited time?  Our guides know how make the most of your time and to show you Israel’s wonderful sites and scenery.

Jerusalem of Gold

If you are interested in history or religion, we would recommend a trip to Jerusalem. This would include the main Christian holy sites such as the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations, the Via Dolorosa, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We would take you on a multi-cultural walking tour of the Old City, including the Arab Souk and a visit to the Jewish Quarter and the Western Wall. There should be time to see parts of the new city of Jerusalem too, either stopping at the famous Mahane Yehuda produce market for a wonderful culinary experience, or taking in a meaningful visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial, as you prefer.

Galilee of Green

If you would prefer to see some green scenery after all the blue sea views of your cruise, we would take you up to the Galilee region. There you can see many famous sites whose names might be familiar to you from bible classes, such as the Church of the Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph in Nazareth, Megiddo and the Valley of Armageddon, the Mount of Beatitudes and Capernaum. We would take you for lunch on the shores of the Sea of Galilee and you could even take a dip in the Jordan River.

Northern Heights & Highlights

If your cruise docks in Haifa, we would take you up Mount Carmel and show you the beautiful Bahai Gardens. We could then visit the Roman ruins of Caesarea and explore the sea grottos of Rosh Hanikra, with plenty of time to explore the Crusader Tunnels and markets of Acco, and before returning you to your embarkation point.

Uptown & Downtown Tel Aviv

For a totally different experience of Israel’s thriving cosmopolitan culture, we recommend a day trip to Tel Aviv. It is known as the White City because of its unparalleled collection of well-maintained Bauhaus buildings. If you love architecture and design, we would take you to Holon to the Design Museum, or you could opt for walking tours of Tel Aviv’s contemporary graffiti art. We could explore the fresh produce markets and fantastic restaurants and cafes, or visit some of the city’s fascinating museums. The choice is yours!

So whichever aspects of Israel you would like to see, Shatour makes it possible to enjoy an all-around Israel experience during a one-day cruise excursion or short business trip.

Talk to us about making the most of your short time in Israel, whether you are visiting by boat or by plane!
